This version of the Pat's Rubber Legs is tied with a little bit of flash added to the body. It is a great choice for higher water or dirty water conditions when a little bit of sparkle can bring more strikes. The same as our regular Pat;s, it is tied on a bent hook which gives the fly a more realistic profile and it is weighted to help get it down to the fish quickly. We also tie it with extra long legs for more movement (you can cut them back if you like but we don't recommend it). Both colors available in sizes 6, 8 & 10.
TIP: This pattern works well as a lead fly in a double nymph rig. In high water situations, try a Squirmy Wormie or a Sparkle Worm as your tailing fly about 2 feet behind your Flashy Pat's.
