Shimazaki Dry Shake Liquid is the best dry fly re-conditioner on the market. It is both a desiccant and water-repellent powder rolled into in one. This allows you to recondition soaked or slime covered flies on the spot; they will float like new again. The bottle is designed to treat a fly with the tippet still attached. Place your fly into the bottle and gently close the lid or put your thumb over the bottle's mouth. Give it a few gentle shakes and your fly will come out dry, coated with a powder and ready to use. Remove any excess powder by false casting or blowing before using. Though this product is more expensive than most other dry fly treatments, it is well worth the cost. All our guides swear by it.
