The Long Haired Hippie is a fantastic stonefly nymph. Tied heavy, these flies get down fast and make a great “anchor” fly for two fly, indicator rig. The long legs do a great job of representing a struggling insect. This pattern is one of our top choices during run-off and in fast moving water conditions.
