With a bead head to get it deep quickly and a bit of flash for attraction, this variation of the classic Pheasant Tail nymph is a great mayfly pattern that deserves a special spot in your fly box. The back of the thorax has a UV resin "lens" over an iridescent shell back which makes this fly glow under water. The tail is also a synthetic which is much more durable than the standard pheasant feather tail of the original pattern. In sizes 16 & 18.
