Lee Wulff's dry fly patterns typically use hair for wings and tails, creating a bushy, higher floating and much more durable fly. This pattern works well in faster moving water where the the Green Drake mayflies are usually found. Here in the west, the green and grey drake hatches can be prolific, typically starting in early July, these large mayflies are a prime food source for the trout. Tied on a size 12 hook to match the size of the real fly.
