This an amazingly well made wading boot. Hellbenders give you maximum support while wading and with the ample padding, they are super comfortable. We have been using these boots in our guiding business for the last few years and they have held up very well after many days on the water with miles of hiking and wading. The heavy duty felt soles wear less than any other boots we have used and provide the best traction on slippery river bottoms.
NOTE: For the ultimate in wading traction and stability, consider adding tungsten screw-in studs to the soles.
