This fly was inspired by a terrific pattern, Devin Olsen's Blowtorch. We found that, for us and the way we fish, our version with a little less flash and "bling" works really well. Just the hot orange tag/tail seems to be all that is needed, especially when the water is clear. A great pattern for both indicator and tight-line nymph fishing methods. In size 12, 14 and 16.
