Callibaetis mayflies (aka "Speckled mayfly") live in lakes, slower moving sections of many rivers and spring creeks. This guide's favorite has deceived many large, selective trout that live in these types of water. With a Comparadun style hair wing and no hackle, this pattern floats well but with the body right in the surface film, presenting a very realistic silhouette. Available in sizes 12, 14 & 16.
TIP: The larger sizes will also work as a Gray Drake.
