Originally developed on the Bow River in Canada, this pattern tied with a conehead for extra weight and movement, is deadly on large trout all over the world. This particular version is tied with a smaller, gold conehead and longer green tentacles. It is not as heavy and a bit easier to cast than the larger conehead patterns we carry. Works well in all types of water conditions. Available in 6 & 8 hook sizes.
TIP: Tie to your tippet with an open loop (i.e. a perfection loop or a non-slip loop knot) to give the fly more movement.
