A fancy take on the more basic foam flies such as the Chernobyl Ant, the Amy’s Ant is a great attractor pattern. Several pieces of foam add a ton of buoyancy to a fly with a smaller profile. This fly is a great hopper component to a small stream “hopper dropper” style rig. The purple color variant is an extremely productive pattern here in northern New Mexico and throughout the southern Rocky Mountains. Available in size 10 and 12.
